Breezy, Chance of a Shower on This Sunday

Starting the day off at a very warm, for this time of the year, 78F.  The only weather threat is a high risk of rip currents which can be seen from this image from Deerfield Beach this morning.

Like yesterday we will some showers around today.  Currently in radar we can see some offshore and a moderate shower affecting the Ft. Lauderdale area.

High today will be 82F with clouds around, and. Icy warmer than most of the country.  In fact under 2% of the country will be about 80F today while 60% will not get above 32F as a high according to the latest GFS.

Looking towards the next 10 days we will not see much change to our temps.  Still do not see any significant cooling which I know our winter visitors will love.

Good luck with your holiday shopping, that is where I am off to.

Weather Continues Mild and Warm

While we wake up to 75F this morning, nearly 60% of the country is at 32F or lower.

Today we could see a scattered light shower, mainly along the coast, with winds 15-20mph and a high of 82F.  Some ares of the SE could see near record highs today.  Locations with a circle below have forecasted highs within a degree of today’s record high.

Our trend of warm temps continues trough the end of the year.  The latest GEFS continues to show this with no real cooler weather on the horizon.

We have a nice weather weeeknd ahead with the holidays next week so no reason to get out and enjoy.

Not the Nicest Weekend, But We Will Take the Rain

Starting the day with showers near and offshore.  This is a result of a stationary front to our south.

For today we are clocking and breezy and cloudy conditions with showers scattered around with a high of 77F.  A bit cooler than we have been due to the clouds and rain today.  Rain amounts will not be extreme but there be some ponding on the roads.

Rainfall totals through tonight according to the latest HRRR for our area:

Looking ahead, with much of the nation under a much colder air mass we can expect very mild temperatures through Christmas Day according to the GEFS:

Have a great day!
