Happy Birthday America – Weather Looks Very Good for Fireworks Across South Fla

A very typical summer heat and humidity is on tap for this Fourth of July, with a high of 90F along with some clouds.  We will run the risk of a shower or thunderstorm but as we have seen over the past number of days they will not be widespread.

For tonight’s fireworks the latest HRRR shows minimal shower activity, so I do not see any delays or postponements at this time.  Here is the simulated radar for 9pm:

I am also watching an area of disturbed weather in the Atlantic which the NHC indicates a high risk of formation over the next five days.  Nothing for us to be worried about at this time but will continue to watch.  Latest model runs look like this:

Enjoy the Fourth and leave the fireworks to the professional and keep all of your neighborhood pets and children in mind.
