5/20 – Mostly Dry, High Risk of Rip Currents

Starting the morning at 80F with a light easterly wind off the oven keeping our temps a bit high.

Another mostly dry day in store for us today as the middle atmosphere does not have enough moisture to produce much rain.  The same easterly wind keeping us warm during the night will keeps our highs under 90F.  A shower is possible but very limited in coverage.  Here are today’s highs according to the latest HRRR:

For those participating in the Pompano Fishing Rodeo will have seas 2-4 feet on the easterly wind of 15-20 offshore.  At the beaches there is a high risk of rip currents, stay out of the water.
Tomorrow , we could see a few more showers with the temps about the same.  Into the work week we will see an increase in showers starting around Wednesday but no real changes in temperatures at this time.  16 day GEFS highs and lows:

Enjoy the day!
