Good Morning on a wet, cool Saturday morning. Starting out at 57° with rain in most areas and looking at the radar we do not see an end to it in the next few hours.
Latest HRRR simulated radar shows this sticking around through the day.
This is due to a front that will move north over us very slowly and this rain will linger into Sunday with a bit of an increase in severe weather chances Sunday for the extreme southern tip of the peninsula which will monitored. For today, not expecting anything severe or flooding concerns today.
Total rainfall for the weekend is in the two to four inches area. Of course this will impact any outdoor activities such as beach clean up, cookie sales, South Florida Fair, or the Chili Cook-off.
We will also not warm up much this weekend with a high of 71° both today and tomorrow. Beyond Monday we will begin to get above 70° as we dry out.
Enjoy the weekend and make the most of it – even with the rain. Follow the Twitter account for updates on rainfall totals and any change in trends.
